The idea for this project came from a friend, after I asked for suggestions on my Instagram account. The design is mine, based on my interest in electronics and drones. This is still one of my favorite projects despite its age — I really enjoyed creating the intricate circuit board details and wires, and getting it looking as realistic as possible was a fun challenge.
One of the most interesting parts for me was creating the glue dots and solder pieces holding on the circuit components. For these I used rough blob shapes as the bases, which I stuck to the circuit board using a shrinkwrap modifier only applied to one side of the shapes.
